Its been a rather gray and cloudy week but today the sun peeked its head out from behind the clouds to remind us that indeed summer is just around the corner. I am in the process of preparing my home for a little dinner party next week and have stripped down all the art and decor on my walls, taking everything back to the bare bones so I can create a fresh new summery inspired schema. The work of Australian Stylist, Clair Wayman caught my eye this week. I love her use of white with pops of color and pattern along with warm wood floors (similar in tone to mine). I know you wouldn’t believe it but I do have a little bohemian style in me and love touches of it in the right (light and airy) setting. (like the rug and sofa in the second image)
What do you think of Clair’s style? I think of the way Anthropologie uses bohemian touches every summer to conjure up far away destinations in our hearts.
